Problem Solving Classes

JBIT believes that no student should be left behind. Our dedicated Problem Solving Classes are special remedial and enrichment sessions conducted beyond regular academic hours to ensure every student masters challenging concepts in Mathematics, Engineering Sciences, and core technical subjects.

Problem Solving

Bridging Gaps, Building Confidence

These classes are especially designed for students who need additional academic support, providing a safe and encouraging space to ask questions, revisit difficult topics, and build confidence.

Faculty conduct small-group sessions that focus on concept clarity, numerical problem-solving, and practical application — going beyond what standard classroom instruction covers.

Mentor-Mentee Programme

At JBIT, we believe in not only educating our students but also nurturing them — academically, emotionally, and professionally. The Mentor-Mentee Programme pairs each student with a dedicated faculty mentor who guides them throughout their journey at JBIT.

Mentor Mentee

Personalized Guidance, Every Step of the Way

Each faculty member is assigned a small group of students to counsel, guide, and support across academic performance, career planning, and personal development.

Mentors actively track attendance, identify struggling students early, and work with parents to ensure every student receives the attention and care they deserve.

What the Programme Covers

  • Regular one-on-one and group mentoring sessions to discuss academic progress, performance, and challenges faced by students.
  • Career counseling and proper guidance regarding higher education, competitive exams, internships, and placement opportunities.
  • Emotional and personal support to help students overcome homesickness, stress, anxiety, and other personal challenges.
  • Continuous monitoring of attendance, discipline, and behaviour to identify and resolve performance issues at an early stage.
  • Regular parent coordination to ensure transparency and collaborative development of students.
  • Identifying weak areas of students and guiding them towards the right academic support and improvement strategies.

Programme Outcomes

  • The Mentor–Mentee Programme has consistently resulted in improved academic performance, reduced dropout rates, and better student engagement.
  • Students develop better clarity about their career goals and become more confident in facing academic and professional challenges.
  • Higher placement success rate due to continuous mentoring, skill development, and career guidance support.
  • Improved overall well-being, communication skills, and personality development among students.
  • The programme acts as a strong support system, making it one of the most valuable initiatives for student success at JBIT.

A great mentor can change a student's entire trajectory. At JBIT, every student has someone in their corner — guiding, encouraging, and believing in their potential.

Pharmacy Laboratories

Laboratories built for hands-on mastery

At JBIT College of Pharmacy, practical competence is treated as a first-class outcome rather than an afterthought. A well-integrated laboratory ecosystem lets students turn theory into real pharmaceutical skills.

The Pharmaceutics wing has a dedicated Machine Room along with the Pharmaceutics I, II and III laboratories for hands-on formulation development and pharmaceutical manufacturing practice. Twin Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratories support the synthesis, analysis and characterisation of drug molecules. Purpose-built Pharmaceutical Analysis and Instrumentation laboratories give access to advanced analytical equipment, and the Pharmacology and Human Anatomy & Physiology laboratories use models and simulation tools to show how drugs act on the body.

Practical learning is further strengthened by:

  • Two Pharmacognosy laboratories for crude drugs, medicinal plants and natural products
  • Dedicated Biochemistry and Microbiology laboratories
  • A fully functional Pharmacy Practice laboratory
  • A Model Pharmacy and museum for real-world dispensing and demonstration
  • A modern computer laboratory for digital and research-based learning

Well-maintained central stores keep chemicals, reagents and equipment available throughout the academic year.
